Remote Education Provision: Information for Parents

This information is intended to provide clarity and transparency to pupils and parents or carers about what to expect from remote education if local restrictions require entire cohorts (or bubbles) to remain at home.
For details of what to expect where individual pupils are self-isolating, please see the final section of this page.

Remote Learning
Should your child be unable to enter the school premises because they are required to self-isolate we will ensure that remote learning is available. As far as possible, you should aim to treat each day at home as a normal school day for your child. We understand that each family's circumstances are different and the responsibility to provide educational support at home can be difficult for families. It is however, important that children remain engaged in education, even when they are not able to enter the school site. We will do everything we can to support you with remote learning and if you have any difficulties please contact our school office. As our remote learning is set on DB Primary, please do contact our school office if your child does not have access to a digital device and we will do all we can to aid the loan of a laptop. Where digital devices are made available on a loan basis it is expected that parents/carers will sign and abide by the terms in the school's digital device loan agreement. Also, please refer to our Online Safety and Acceptable Use Policy . A copy of which can be found in this section of the website.
