School Uniform Update – Academic Year 2026/27
School Uniform letter to Parents/Carers
From the start of the 2026/27 academic year, we will be introducing a revised school uniform to ensure that there is a smart and consistent look across the whole school.
By streamlining the school uniform, our aim is for all of the pupils of the school to have one clear identity.
Why are we making these change?
Equality and Inclusion: - A consistent uniform helps all of the children to feel that they belong regardless of their background.
School Identity: - A unified appearance demonstrates a stronger sense of community and pride in our school.
Simplicity for Parents/Carers: - Clearer guidelines make it easier for parents/carers to shop for school clothes.
What will my child be expected to wear as part of their school uniform from the start of the 2026/27 academic year?
Children will be expected to wear the following items as part of their school uniform:
Sweatshirt or Cardigan – Plain Green
We have chosen to move to this colour as we have noticed that a lot of our children currently come to school wearing sweatshirts and cardigans in this colour.
We hope that moving to this shade of green will allow parents/carers the opportunity to purchase their child’s school uniform from supermarkets, and therefore, in turn, reducing costs.
Whilst there is no expectation for children to wear a school jumper with a logo on it, we are aware that some of our parents/carers do want to purchase jumpers and cardigans with the school logo on them.

Polo Shirt – Plain White
Trousers or Shorts – Plain Dark Grey
Pinafore, Skirt and Tights - Plain Dark Grey
Summer Dress – Gingham and Green
School Shoes – Plain Black
School shoes must be fully black. Plain black trainers will be allowed as part of the school uniform as long as they are fully black and free from all other colours.
What will my child be expected to wear as part of their P.E. kit from the start of the 2026/27 academic year?
This uniform revision also includes the P.E. kit worn by children on P.E. days.
Moving forward, we would also like there to be a more consistent approach on PE days, and therefore, we will be moving away from the mix of branded sportswear and different colours currently worn by the children.
Sweatshirt – Plain Black
There is no expectation for children to wear a PE jumper with a logo on it.
However, if your child currently has a black jumper which they wear to school, they might choose to wear this during P.E. lessons.
T-shirt - White :
Jogging Bottoms – Plain Black
PE Trainers – Plain Black
Trainers worn during PE lessons must be plain black.
If your child already wears plain black trainers as part of their school uniform, the same pair can also be used for PE lessons.
